Three games into their Leinster Championship campaign, it's fair to say that Galway have not set many pulses racing with their play up to this point.
While they would handily beat Carlow in the opening fixture of their campaign, the last two outings have been far from impressive. A draw with Kilkenny is a good result on paper, although it is less so when you consider that Derek Lyng's side were missing a number of their first choice players.
Last weekend's loss to Wexford was even more concerning. Henry Shefflin's men were completely off the pace during the eight-point defeat at Wexford Park, a result that leaves them in real danger of not making it out of Leinster.

Joe Canning gives damning summary of current Galway team
With games against Dublin and Antrim still to come, Galway have plenty of time to turn things around in their championship campaign. However, there are concerns heading into those fixtures, especially when you consider their performance against Wexford.
Writing in the Irish Times, Joe Canning gave a grim indictment of where the current Galway team are at.
I’ve said this before, but I still don’t know how Galway are trying to play. I don’t see a pattern. I can’t read how they’re going to set up from one game to the next...
I have to be honest and say I don’t see any togetherness. I don’t see any real direction. It’s disjointed. Too much of what they’re doing is individualistic.
At the moment I’m finding it hard to see a team that can challenge for the All-Ireland. It’s just very frustrating from a Galway point of view.
That is quite the breakdown from Canning, who clearly feels that major changes will be needed over the coming weeks if Galway are to experience any sort of success this summer.
It looks as though Henry Shefflin might have a big job on his hands if he is hoping to turn things around.
