Mayo continued their strong start to the league campaign last night, running out as a 4-10 to 0-12 winners over Tyrone in Castlebar.
It was a very comfortable win for the hosts, who were dominant for most of the game despite having started in a rather pedestrian fashion. While they would have to wait until the 17th minute for their first point, Kevin McStay's side would bag two goals in the first half to lead 2-5 to 0-5 at the interval.
Their third goal was without doubt the pick of the bunch.
It came via Enda Hession, who produced a stunning piece of skill to sell a dummy to the opposition goalkeeper before finishing into the Tyrone net.
Sit back and enjoy this one.

Absolutely sublime.
This would all but end the chance of any Tyrone comeback, with Mayo seeing out a routine victory in the end.
Joe Brolly leads praise for Enda Hession goal
This was a top quality goal from an excellent player, one who is developing a burgeoning reputation as one of the best attacking backs in the game.
Last night was a prime example, with the Garrymore clubman receiving plenty of praise for that audacious dummy.
Brilliant from Enda Hession. A superb finale to a superb all round performance from this hyperactive, skilled footballer. The son of God didn’t know what hit him. pic.twitter.com/pYSJCPpM31

Enda Hession is some footballer. Another example of the growing influence of attacking corner backs, incredibly comfortable on the ball & scoring big! That goal tonight against Tyrone had shades of Colm Cooper in his prime. An impressive league for Mayopic.twitter.com/5ohpptYTQv

Some performance by Mayo here in Castlebar. Didn’t score for first 17.5 minutes & then scored 4-10 to Tyrone 0-12. Long ball working well in 1st half. 4 goals were good but Enda Hession’s was special. @RTEsport @RTEgaa @TheSundayGame @officialgaa pic.twitter.com/L76YE2Wm3N

You wouldn't see a corner forward doing as good a solo dummy as that 🤩#EndaHession #MayovsTyrone @SportTG4

Best attacking back in the country. His dodging and weaving at speed is incredible. Maybe even best defender in the country #mayogaa #gaa https://t.co/pJF3L41Umw

Hession is sure to play a huge part for Mayo in the year ahead, with Kevin McStay looking to refresh a panel that has amount of minutes under their belt of the last few years.
Their start in the league has certainly been a promising one, leading some to speculate that this rejuvenated group could be ahead of schedule in their ability to challenge for the big honours.
If they can produce more moments of magic such as this one to go along with a consistent level of performance, you wouldn't bet against them having a big say on proceedings later in the summer.
