There was always going to be a lot of pressure on Maurice Deegan coming into today's between Tyrone and Kerry but in the immediate aftermath Joe Brolly was clear in telling people what he thought of the referee's performance.
The second half had more than a couple of contentious decisions, with black cards, yellow cards and penalty controversies, and Brolly thought Tyrone were the side who should feel most aggrieved.
He told Michael Lyster:
Maurice Deegan, in the second half, he did something to Tyrone that normally happens between consenting adults in private.
