A statue of Dublin-born Aussie Rules legend Jim Stynes has been unveiled outside the MCG.
The statue is on the Australia Post Avenue of Legends which also features statues of cricketers Shane Warne and Neil Harvey and two other AFL legends, Norm Smith and John Coleman.
Stynes, who died due to cancer in March 2012, won AFL's Brownlow medal in 1991 and was President of Melbourne FC between 2008 and 2012. He also won a minor All-Ireland medal with Dublin in 1984.
