Donegal have racked up two wins in two games so far in the National League, with superpowers Dublin and Kerry feeling the wrath of Jim McGuinness' side.
Last year's Ulster champions have adapted well to the new rules introduced by the Football Rules Committee and look to be further ahead than most when it comes to conditioning and match readiness.
This comes as no surprise to those who have followed McGuinness' managerial career, as the Glenties man is famous for his diligent preparation and organisation.
One disappointing side not from Donegal's start to the season, has been the absence of Michael Murphy, who fans have been desperate to see make his return following his retirement U-turn last year.
The 2012 All-Ireland winner wasn't in the match day squad against either Dublin or Kerry, but with the All-Ireland champions Armagh waiting on them, the county boss told Donegal Live that he could be in the running.

“Michael is close, but we want to make sure that Michael is ready to step in.
“We’re risk averse. So again, we’ll make a decision on Michael late in the week. But he’s fit, healthy and probably looking to get going himself at this stage.
“But if it’s this week, next week or the week after we’ll just have to wait and see”.
In what capacity Murphy makes his return, remains to be seen, as there had been reports that the star forward would actually be trialled in nets.
Placing one of the greatest ever shooters in the game in nets sounds too extreme to be true, but with the new rules meaning that keepers play an integral role in the attack, it certainly isn't impossible.
One thing we can say with confidence, is that McGuinness is really enjoying himself when it comes to teasing the media about it.
When asked if Murphy would be a great option around the middle this week against Armagh because of injuries to Jason McGee and Michael Langan, the Donegal boss couldn't help himself with his reply.
“It would be hard for Michael to win ball around the middle of the field if he’s taking the kickouts.
"But if anyone can do that it’ll be Michael Murphy!”
In fairness to Murphy, you could put him in full back and he would still be incredibly effective, but hopefully we see him in a Donegal jersey sooner rather than later.
