Lee Keegan put in Man of the Match performance for Mayo in their All-Ireland quarter-final against Donegal.
The half-back scored 1-2, though there was an element of luck about his goal. He appeared to aiming for a point but instead the shot took a low trajectory and looped beyond the reach of Donegal keeper Paul Durcan.
A smiling Keegan joked afterwards "I went for goal, of course I did".
Speaking after the game on Sky Sports, Jim McGuinness had some considerable praise for Keegan.
I think he's the best half-back in the country. There's no doubt about that. He's just got everything.
Pace. Power. When he accelerates from the half-back line, he's starting attacks in the blink of an eye.
He's very, very impressive.
McGuinness also spoke highly of Keegan's defensive colleague Keith Higgins.
Keith Higgins has the same capability but he's a bigger man and so he can break the tackle even against bigger men.
