Former Dublin manager Jim Gavin is amongst a host of big names that have qualified to take part in a charity celebrity golfing tournament in Mauritius later this year.
The Celebrity Series Grand Final will take place alongside the MCB Tour Championship, an event in the European Senior Tour, in December. A prize fund of £100,000 will be up for grabs, with the winner taking home £25,000 for their chosen charity.
In order to qualify for the event, players must have performed well in other celebrity events throughout the year. Gavin qualified after winning at the celebrity event at the Irish Legends back in August.
The five-time Sam Maguire winning manager will be joined nine other well-known names, including the likes of Keith Wood, Robbie Fowler, AP McCoy, and Gordon Strachan.
