Dublin progressed to the Super 8s with an easy win against Laois in the Leinster final on Sunday - their eighth provincial title in a row.
The few negatives Jim Gavin will take from the game will likely include the nine wides kicked in the first half and a red card for John Small in the second half.
Small had just been on the pitch five minutes as a replacement for Michael Darragh Macauley when referee Barry Cassidy sent-off the 25-year-old.
The Ballymun player had just made contact with the face of Laois corner-forward Evan O'Carroll as he lay on the ground.
Dublin manager Jim Gavin told RTÉ Sport after the game that he thought the punishment was "harsh".
"It was a mis-timed tackle and not anything aggressive or malicious from John. I haven't seen it yet on the tape, obviously I'm just straight off the pitch. We'll have a look at that later on and consider it.
"Despite getting a man sent off in the second half that I thought was harsh, the boys knuckled down and I thought they shot really well in the second half.
"We created lots of opportunities in the first half and didn't take them but I suppose the positive thing at half time was that we were creating those opportunities. And thankfully in the second half we were a bit more clinical."
Gavin will now be without Small for Dublin's opening game of the Super 8s against Donegal in three weeks.
