After extra time on Saturday afternoon, Oran won the Roscommon Senior Hurling Championship final replay by six points.

The first game between the two sides had been a dramatic one. Seven points down at one stage, Four Roads came back to earn the draw and the replay.

The replay also saw drama. Late in the game, Four Roads led by a point on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-10. Their ninth consecutive Roscommon hurling title was within their grasp.

Oran won a free deep within their own half. Up stepped Jerry Fallon to hit mammoth free which would level the game.
