The first game between the two sides had been a dramatic one. Seven points down at one stage, Four Roads came back to earn the draw and the replay.
The replay also saw drama. Late in the game, Four Roads led by a point on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-10. Their ninth consecutive Roscommon hurling title was within their grasp.
Oran won a free deep within their own half. Up stepped Jerry Fallon to hit mammoth free which would level the game.
The moment was captured by local journalist Seamus Duke with the legendary Shannonside FM commentator Willie Hegarty in the background.
Fallon's score was described as the 'score of the century' by Hegarty.

Oran ran riot in extra time. Just three minutes into the second half of extra time they would have a nine point lead before they eventually won by six.
Jerry Fallon was named Man of the Match.
Oran will have little time for rest. On Monday, they face the champions of Mayo.
