It was all building to this.
Having spent a number of weeks familiarising themselves with Gaelic football, Sky Sports' Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara arrived at Croke Park to commentate on the All-Ireland final between Dublin and Mayo.
Travelling the length and breadth of the country across their 8 part series, Jeff and Kammy encountered many well-known figures from the GAA, from honing their commentary skills with Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, to discussing the importance of amateurism with Dublin's Johnny Cooper.
Hilariously, it was very nearly just Jeff's Journey to Croker.
Kammy's commitment both to Sky's Goals On Sunday show and the All-Ireland final meant his arrival to Croke Park came 15 minutes prior to throw-in.
Looking visibly nervous that he was going to have to go it alone, Stelling's relief when Kamara finally arrived was palpable.
Summing up his take on their Journey to Croker, Kammy was genuinely thrilled by the experience:
To see it from grassroots level, to taking an interest in it, understand it, and then have the the joy to come and watch it today was just amazing.
According to Jeff, he very simply 'loved it.'
In what always had the potential of being - and perhaps in certain instances was - a kitsch, parodying look at Gaelic football, AIB's work with Jeff & Kammy here has in fact been brilliant.
