Jason Sherlock is set to be hit with an eight-week ban following an incident in Dublin's draw with Galway in Salthill at the weekend.
The Irish Daily Star reports at the CCCC has reviewed footage and that Sherlock will be charged with making 'physical interference with an opposing team player or team official'.
The Dublin forwards coach appeared to shove Galway forward Barry McHugh in the back as he was involved in a sideline tussle with Ciaran Kilkenny.
On RTÉ's League Sunday, neither Marty Clarke or Pat Spillane felt that Sherlock deserved a ban for his part in the incident. In fact, Spillane thought that Sherlock had been acting as the peacemaker.
Mayo selector Tony McEntee received an eight-week ban after he became involved in a row on the pitch, also against Galway, last month.
The ban could mean Sherlock missing Dublin's last Division One game of the league against Monaghan this weekend along with the final versus Galway on April 1st.
