Tipperary Minor's Jake Morris had a very eventful minute of action in today's All-Ireland final. In the span of about 30 seconds, he put his county into a commanding 1-10 to 0-08 lead with a cracking goal and was lucky to avoid seeing red for a wild pull.
Morris was the difference between the sides in the game, especially in the second half - but there is a strong case to be made that he shouldn't be on the pitch after lashing out at Limerick's Josh Adams.
After scoring the goal with the clock at 33.40, literally 45 seconds later - at 34.25 - Morris clashed with Adams and struck him with his hurl:
As the commentary says, it's an idiotic thing to do when he's the talisman of the Tipperary team.
Despite the incident being caught live on camera, the linesman didn't see the action at all, and Morris went unpunished.
Twitter was not pleased:
Jake Morris the difference between the teams in Minor final but he should have been sent off. #AllIrelandFinal #gaabeo

Tipp minor Liam Cahill was asked about the incident after the match but said he didn't see it.
