It was Dublin's first All-Ireland Football final win since their six-in-a-row, and for many it felt even more important and special than 2020 win.
After two years without a win, and a league relegation to booot, many questioned whether Dublin's golden days were over.
But, with the return of Stephen Cluxton, Paul Mannion, and Jack McCaffrey, standards were raised and a new belief washed over the squad.
McCaffrey in particular, and his post-match celebrations, truly highlighted what the win meant for the team and the county, with many clips of the Clontarf man letting is exuberance loose on Sunday.

At the post-match banquet, McCaffrey spoke of his wariness ahead of his return to the Dublin GAA fold, but was utterly confident in his side as soon as he stepped back into the dressing room.
There were a couple of moments when it looked like we had a bit of work to do to get to where we wanted to be. But I'd spoken to a few of the lads who I've played with over the last seven, eight, nine years.
And from the second I stepped back into the dressing room, I was just like 'we're going to win the All-Ireland.
