On Monday, three All-Ireland medals will cross the threshold of the McGrath family home.
Both John and Noel McGrath were part of the Tipp team which toppled Kilkenny's attempt to win three All-Irelands in a row.
The brothers were key in the victory. Noel scored a point and laid on a goal for John as he capped a breakthrough season by scoring 1-3 in the Championship decider.
In last year's All-Ireland semi-final against Galway, just four months after undergoing surgery for testicular cancer, Noel McGrath received a standing ovation as he entered the game as a substitute. It was his comeback match. He would score a point which, for a few moments, looked like being the winner for Tipp.
On Sunday, this time as he departed the pitch, McGrath was again given a standing ovation by the Croke Park crowd.
Speaking to Marty Morrissey on the Nine O'Clock News, McGrath said today was an achievement he could not have envisioned after his diagnosis last year.
To have this 15 or 16 months later, to be lifting Liam McCarthy is something I could never have dreamed would happen to me back in April 2015. To be up here tonight and to see Brendan [Maher] lift that cup today was just a great feeling for me, for everybody.
Prior to John and Noel's triumph came another for the McGrath family.
Brian McGrath captained the Tipperary minors as they beat Limerick by seven points in the curtain raiser at Croke Park.
McGrath, playing at centre-back, score two points as he led his side to victory.
As he stood in the Hogan Stand, waiting for GAA president Aogán O Fearghail to hand him the Irish Press Cup, McGrath was unable to contain his glee.
Sportsfile captured a lovely moment between Brian McGrath and his mother Anne as they celebrated after the game.
