Frank Dawson was ratified as returning manager for the Antrim Senior football team last night and the Antrim GAA Twitter account announced the news.
Some of the responses were not so favourable though.
@clubaontroma Use r fucking joke #dawsonout

The account then countered the replies by saying some of them went too far in their criticism.
Some of the comments in relation to management appointments were way over the top. People need to take a look at themselves #gaanotsoccer

Just over twenty minutes later another tweet, which was later deleted was posted. This one said that anyone using obscenities or offensive language towards the tweeter would be blocked.
It was confirmed to the Irish Daily Star that the county PRO Brendan Mulgrew was the one running the Twitter account at the time.
I'm betting none of that is in the county PRO handbook.
Antrim were relegated to Division four of the National Football League this year and then went onto lose to Monaghan in the Ulster Championship and subsequently Louth in the first round of the qualifiers.
