The Intercounty GAA Challenge Matches On This Weekend And How To Watch Them

For the first time since they were introduced, the GAA has no pre-season competitions for fans to enjoy, and managers to put their training to the test.

The likes of the McKenna Cup or FBD League have been removed from the GAA calendar for player welfare, and but with the Football Rules Committee introducing new rules to the game, these matches are more important than ever.

Counties don't want to be going into the National League campaign with little experience under their belts, as they need to see what works and what doesn't under these enhancements to the game.

So it is only natural that lots of intercounty challenge games have started to take place, and there are some very interesting ties on this weekend.

A lot of the games are being used to raise funds for charities, so it is an added incentive to get down and support your county, and Clubber TV has really came through for hurling fans.
