There were emotional scenes in Boherlahan on Sunday afternoon as Clonoulty-Rossmore returned to Tipp SHC action following the tragic passing of star man Dillon Quirke.
Clonoulty-Rossmore came out on top in the Tipperary SHC group stage game against Moycarkey-Borris by three points on a scoreline of 0-25 to 1-19, with 24-year-old Quirke being remembered by both sides before throw-in.
In a touching gesture, Moycarkey-Borris captain Pat Molloy presented a signed number eleven jersey to Jason O'Dwyer of Clonoulty-Rossmore. Quirke wore the number eleven shirt for his club, who lined out with no number eleven on the teamsheet.

A poignant minute's silence was held in Quirke's memory before the game.
The young Tipperary star died last month after falling ill while playing in a club championship game against Kilruane MacDonaghs at Semple Stadium two weeks ago.
Since his passing, tributes have poured in from across the GAA community.
