Another weekend, another host of county finals being played out across the country.
With the provincial championships already getting underway in some quarters, Gaelic football finals in Cork, Clare, Galway, Kerry, London, Tipperary and Waterford were contested on a busy Sunday afternoon.
In the hurling, county finals were decided in Antrim, Dublin and Kilkenny; Henry Shefflin marking his first year in senior management with Ballyhale's first county success since 2014.
As he described these days himself in his post-match comments; "All over the country, [county final] day is a special day, because of the community, because of the bond."
