Agustina Lazarini plays in goal for Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football side St. Brendan's, though she has come a long way to line out for the club.
Lazarini came to Ireland two years ago, and revealed that she is from the same town as one of the greatest players ever to play football:
I'm from Rosario in the middle of the country, where Messi is from, if you know him!
Predictably Lazarini did not have much of a background in GAA upon arrival, but praised St Brendan's for taking her under their wing:
They opened the doors of the club to me and introduced family to me. It's really good, I love it.
Last Sunday, Agustina was selected to play as a goalkeeper in the New Ireland Assurance Dubs Stars Junior match at DCU, in the game before Dublin's All Ireland winners took to the field.
