The Quarter-Final group stage tie between Kerry and Galway has been confirmed for July 15 in Croke Park at 4 pm, the exact same time as the World Cup final will kick-off.
The GAA confirmed details for the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship Quarter-Final phase 1 games today. On Saturday the 14th, Dublin and Donegal will play in Croke Park at 7pm.
It is not the first time the GAA have fixed a game to clash with a huge soccer final this year. The Champions League final took place at the same time as Cork and Tipperary's Munster football semi-final encounter.
Unfortunate clash...The big #GAA #Super8 game between #Kerry & #Galway at Croke Park on Sunday, July 15, will start at the same time as the #WorldCup Final. I think that explains why #Dublin v #Donegal is on Saturday night.
