Match Preview
The Allianz Hurling League started last weekend and it wasn't a good start for Limerick. They lost 1-11 to 0-11 away to Wexford. It was the first time they lost to Wexford since the opening round of the league in 2017 and their first competitive loss in nine matches.
Ahead of this match John Kiely has made five changes from last week. There's first starts of the season for All-Stars Sean Finn, Kyle Hayes and Darragh O'Donovan. Substitutes last week Brian O'Grady and Seamus Flanagan also come into the starting lineup this week as well. They all come in to start in place of Declan Hannon, Tom Morrissey, Pat Ryan, Robbie Hanley and Colin Coughlan.
Henry Shefflin got off to winning start in the league as Galway thrashed Offaly 4-22 to 0-17 at Pearse Stadium. They were dominant from start to finish against Offaly in the wild winds of Salt Hill.
Henry Shefflin has made three changes ahead of the trip to Limerick. Jack Fitzpatrick, Eanna Burke and Cathal Mannion come into the starting lineup in place of Declan Cronin, Evan Niland and Brian Concannon.
