Form Guide
Galway beat Dublin 0-27 to 0-21 in their last outting, keeping their unbeaten Leinster SHC run intact. Conor Cooney was in fantastic scoring form for Henry Shefflin's side scoring 13 points during the win. Cooney's championship tally now sits at 1-41 for the season.
The last time Kilkenny and Galway met, it was the Tribesmen who came out on top. John Donnelly's goal in the 74th minute looked to have won it for the Cats, but a Conor Cooney free just moments later gave Galway the win.

Brian Cody's side come into the game off the back of a 1-22 to 1-18 defeat to Wexford last time out. The decision to only bring on two-time All Star Pádraig Walsh in the 67th minute caused controversy with former Kilkenny player Jackie Tyrell questioning Cody's decision.
"Pádraig Walsh came on in the 67th minute. I actually thought he was injured cause he wasn't on. I like 'Brian is after dropping him.' Because the pressure was coming on in the second half, I said we're going to see Pádraig. He must have been injured, he must have done something in the warm-up. Next thing, 67th minute, I look up and Pádraig's coming on. I was like, what's that all about? It was so, so strange," said Tyrell.
If the game even has half the drama that the game at the start of May had, it will undoubtedly be a great watch.
