Form Guide

Recommended

Following their league final defeat to Waterford, the Rebels were unable to bring their league form into their championship opener against Limerick, with John Kiely’s side running out comfortable winners in the end, despite a strong start from Cork. With Limerick and Waterford likely to be the top two teams in the round robin, another defeat for Cork would put them in a very difficult position to progress.

Meanwhile, Clare welcomed back Shane O’Donnell and Peter Duggan into the side as three first half goals saw them see off Tipperary in their opening game of the championship. A win over Cork would put the Banner County in a strong position as they attempt to qualify for the Munster final.

Team News

On Friday evening, Brian Lohan named his Clare team to play Cork. Shane O'Donnell is named amongst the starters this week, as does Duggan at full forward.
