Form Guide
Antrim's only defeat in the championship came against Kerry in the final game of the round robin, Joe McDonagh Cup against Kerry but the Ulster side had already cemented a place in the final by then.
One man who was in fantastic form for Antrim during the victory over Kerry in last week's final was Conal Cunning who scored 1-12. Ciarán Clarke was also in scoring form last week as he found the back of the net on two separate occasions to seal two Joe McDonagh Cups in a row for Antrim.
Cork qualified for the preliminary quarterfinals after finishing third in the Munster SHC, beating Waterford and Tipperary in their final outting of the campaign. The Rebel county lost out to Limerick and narrowly to Clare in round three, bringing an end to their provincial title hopes.
Speaking after his side's vital win against Tipperary, Kieran Kingston said;
If we had lost the last two games, I would still have fierce belief in this group of players.
I wouldn't have come back into them a couple of years ago when they asked me to if I didn't have belief in them and my belief in them has only grown.
Patrick Horgan has been in fantastic scoring form and he will look to add to his championship tally of 0-28 this weekend against Antrim.
