One of the most inconsolable Mayo players yesterday was goalkeeper Rob Hennelly. The 26-year-old was brought into the Mayo team for regular keeper David Clarke, and it was his error that gifted Dublin the penalty that they score a goal from.
There was a lot of support for Hennelly online, none more so than Cork's U-21 keeper Anthony Casey.
Blaming @RobHennelly for @MayoGAA loss is pathetic! Took guts to step in on a last minute call from management! Top keeper and gent!💪🏽

It shows how much class the pair have, and hopefully Hennelly will be able to redeem himself after his mistake without getting the abuse that Casey was subjected to.
