Hawk-Eye is scheduled for use in Croke Park for the first time on June 1st for a Leinster Championship quarter-finals double header. Irish Examiner journalist, John Fogarty, tweeted a picture yesterday of the system being tested.
It will be used to support the decision making process of the referee in terms of whether or not a point has been scored.
