If you've ever heard of Skip Bayless and ESPN's First Take show then you'll be familiar with their planned arguments where the panelists don't particularly disagree with each other but for the sake for TV take up polar opposite opinions on a subject. For some reason I thought of that during last night's debate. I don't doubt that Pat Spillane believes Colm Cooper is not a choker but I do think that Joe Brolly does not fully believe everything that he says and writes but to create attention he will take up an opinion and run with it.
Also, If I wasn't a biased Kerryman then I might suggest surprise that Spillane didn't take a dive, grabbing his shoulder in agony after Brolly tapped him on the shoulder.
