The rain in Croke Park hasn't dampened the quality of the action between Kildare and Monaghan. The Lilywhites led 2-5 to 0-8 at half time thanks to two goals from half back Emmet Bolton, the first of which was an absolute beauty.
You know a ball is well hit when the umpire is behind the net but is still afraid of getting hit.
That wasn't the only incredible goal from a full back during the game. Monaghan's Vinny Corey popped up with a goal of the Championship contender himself with a finish very similar to Bolton's after 49 minutes.
It proved to be a turning point in the game with Monaghan rallying to draw the match after 70 minutes and then winning 2-16 to 2-14 after extra time. The Ulster men go through to the All-Ireland quarter final to face Dublin.
