Former All-Ireland winning manager and Allstar Ger Loughnane doesn't think Tipperary have it in them to beat Kilkenny in the All-Ireland hurling semi-final tomorrow, claiming that he was "shocked" by their semi-final performance in their one-point win over Galway.
And Loughnane has used his column in the Irish Daily Star to say that he wouldn't be putting any bets on the Premier County to prevail.
You just can't trust them in Croke Park. Kilkenny to win.
Meanwhile, within the Tipperary camp, captain Brendan Maher has admitted in an interview with gaa.ie that Kilkenny have been "a monkey on the back" of his side. The Cats have overcome Tipp in two All-Ireland finals since 2013 as well as the qualifiers in 2013 and semis in 2012.
Maher admitted he has felt "a lot happier in his own skin" since moving to his favoured position of midfield under Michael Ryan. Maher's partnership with newcomer Michael Breen has been a key reason why Tipp are playing on the first Sunday in September in Croke Park.
