Laois forward Gary Walsh has been dropped from their senior panel - and he's not one bit happy about it. The Ballylinan forward took to Twitter tonight to stress that he had left the Laois panel - instead he been dropped from the panel by manager Mick Lillis.
Walsh claims that he was dropped after missing one training session out of 150 all year and the fact that he "let a few fucks out of me after been taken off against Dubs". His full statement is below.
I have not left the Laos panel I was dropped , Thanks for all the messages & best of luck to the players vs Armagh pic.twitter.com/YD2Nn6wxLD

Walsh scored Laois' opening point in their 11-point defeat to Dublin in Nowlan Park on Saturday evening and was far from the side's worst performer on the night even though he was replaced at half-time. Laois were atrocious in the opening period and any one of their forwards could have been replaced - they trailed by 11 points at half-time.
Manager Mick Lillis has come in for some severe criticism within the county and this incident is sure to add fuel to the fire.
It's not Walsh's first time to cause a scene on Twitter. He previously featured here for threatening radio presenter and former Laois star Colm Parkinson about criticism he made of the county set-up.
