Galway are set to take on Armagh this weekend as the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship round-robin stage reaches its conclusion. Here's everything you need to know about Galway v Armagh.
For Galway, they will be looking to continue their great form in the championship so far. The Connacht champions got their Sam Maguire round-robin campaign underway with a game at home to league champions Derry. Goals from Séan Kelly and Cein Darcy after a red card was issued to Derry captain Gareth McKinless helped Galway grab a 2-14 to 0-15 win over the 14 men of the Oak Leaf County.
The Tribesmen would then travel to Mullingar to take on Westmeath in round two, where a Shane Walsh goal would help the away side get a 1-12 to 0-11 win.
In Armagh's case, they look to win their third game on the bounce in the round-robin and win group 1. The Orchard County began their Sam Maguire campaign with a home game against Westmeath, where 0-05 from the boot of Rory Grugan helped Armagh grab a 0-16 to 0-11 win.
A trip to Celtic Park to face Ulster rivals Derry would follow in round two, where Kieran McGeeney's side would impress en route to victory. Goals from Rian O'Neill, Conor Turbitt, and substitute Ross McQuillan helped Armagh cruise to a 3-17 to 0-15 win.
As Derry looked to be closing the gap. An O'Neill goal to make it three for Armagh. Derry sending off for McFaul in 59th minute.
