A day after the Mayo footballers' revolution bore fruit, we could be on the verge of another in Connacht GAA.
The Irish Examiner reports that a majority of the Galway hurling panel has expressed dissatisfaction with Anthony Cunningham.
Cunningham - who led Galway to this year's All-Ireland final - was reappointed as manager for another season on Monday.
According to the Examiner, crisis talks are taking place in the county after four players, nominated by the panel, spoke to Cunningham regarding their concerns about him remaining as manager. This happened two days before he was reappointed.
The news comes following rumours of dressing room unrest during half-time of the All-Ireland final loss to Kilkenny, at which time Galway led the game by three points.
Recent events involving the Mayo footballers have apparently inspired their Galway counterparts.
