'Galvinised' was rerun last night, and for those who were comatose or pissed during the Christmas, it was an eye-opening introduction into Galvin's wardrobe and mindset. We've waxed about as philosophically as we could about the documentary back then. Still, we couldn't help but notice the intrigue that 'Galvinised' inspired among a number of male Irishmen on Twitter who presumably don't belong to GAA clubs, mostly in response to criticism of Galvin's skinny jeans by Adam and Paul's Mark O'Halloran. 'Galvinised' may have turned some hardcore gaels against Galvin forever, but conversely, it may have generated a interest into gaelic football amongst a brand new audience, a feat that deserves special commendation from Paraic Duffy.
