Today's GAA results were left a little short on account of numerous postponements due to insurmountable weather conditions.
Connacht's FBD League had two fixtures scheduled, both being being called off prior to throw-in.
Those fans suffering with the dreaded McKenna Cup fever in Ulster were by and large left without any antidote - games in Armagh, Down and Monaghan all postponed.
However, not to be too glum, plenty of games from the O'Byrne Cup, Walsh Cup, McGrath Cup and Munster Senior Hurling League progressed as scheduled.
Notably, there was some history made in the Bord na Mona Walsh Cup today, Kildare's hurlers playing Kilkenny for the first time in a senior fixture (it went better than you think).
