After we recently brought you a ranking of every county's 2023 home kit, it was only fair that we gave every team a second chance by ranking the away GAA jerseys as well.
There are some incredible alternate jerseys that have been used this summer, with all 33 counties in this year's championship having something to offer.
In the case where no away jersey was designated, we have substituted in the goalkeeper jersey. This is usually what counties do in cases where no official alternate kit is available.
Here's what we came up with.
2023 Inter-County Away GAA Jersey Rankings
34. Meath
This was far and away the worst one of the bunch in the 2023 GAA season for us.
There's just too much going on, none of which is easy on the eye.
33. Carlow
It's just a bit boring.
Considering the potential with their colour scheme, Carlow significantly underperform in these rankings each year.
32. Sligo
This one had potential, but it was not executed all that well.
31. Kildare
Kildare have had this alternate jersey since 2019, meaning they are well overdue for a change.
This effort is very underwhelming and looks a bit dated in comparison to the more recent efforts.
30. Monaghan
This is essentially a reverse of Monaghan's home jersey, but it doesn't work quite as well as the white one.

29. Kilkenny
It's difficult for Kilkenny to do much with this colour pattern.
In saying that, the two tones of black just don't do it for us.
28. Leitrim
This is a bit better than the home jersey, but it is still lacking something.
27. Fermanagh
There's nothing wrong with this one, but it doesn't stand out.
26. Donegal
Donegal are a team whose GAA jerseys have not quite hit in recent years, with this being no exception.
We would hope to see better coming from them in the next few seasons.
25. Dublin
You'll either love or hate this one.
Unfortunately, we fall somewhere nearer the latter.
24. Cork
This is an okay from effort from Cork, although it's slightly too plain for our liking.
23. Laois
Much like the Cork one, this Laois jersey is just lacking a little bit of an eye-catching element.
22. Waterford
This is a more out there effort from Waterford.
The geometric pattern is interesting, although you feel it might have ranked higher without it.
21. Roscommon
This is a nice shade of navy.
It contrasts well with the yellow sponsor and sleeve trim.
20. Tipperary
This isn't quite as eye-catching as the Tipp home jersey, although it's not a bad effort.
19. Longford
A reverse of the Longford home kit, this looks far nicer than the blue effort.
18. Westmeath
Certainly one of the more unique GAA jerseys you'll see.
Green and maroon are not colours you would normally see together, although it is certainly interesting.
17. Tyrone
Tyrone have ranked quite a bit higher in years gone by, although this is not a bad attempt.
16. London
It's a mid-table finish for London on the back of this clean cut kit.
Another added feature or two likely would have seen it move much higher up the rankings.
15. Derry
A reverse of the Derry home jersey, we prefer the white panel over this red one.
In saying that, it is a very nice piece of kit.
14. Mayo
While not a match for the home kit, this is a respectable finish for Mayo.
We expect them to come back even stronger in 2024.
13. Louth
A simple reverse of the home jersey has seen Louth vault up the rankings.
The white kit is much more eye-catching than the red equivalent.
12. Antrim
Antrim are another county that have shot up the rankings on this occasion.
We're big fans of this one.
11. Kerry
Kerry underperformed in the home jersey rankings.
However, their away one is closer to the standards you would expect to see from them. This shade of blue is not something you see in kits very often.
10. Limerick
This is definitely something a bit different from Limerick, straying from their normal colour scheme or traditional blue alternate jersey.
We like it.
9. Cavan
Cavan's alternate jerseys are always up there with the best of them and this is no different.
Beautiful.
8. Armagh
There is something a bit supervillain about this Armagh jersey, something that fits the siege mentality of Kieran McGeeney's team quite well.
It's a much nicer effort than the home one.
7. Clare
Now we're getting into the big hitters of the 2023 GAA season.
This is a stunner from Clare.
6. Down
Down topped our home jersey rankings, and while they didn't quite hit those heights on this occasion, sixth place is good going.
It might have ranked one or two spots higher if the black panel was a bit cleaner.
5. Wicklow
It's a top five finish for Wicklow.
The blue sleeves on the white jersey works brilliantly, with the small bit of of yellow on the collar also a nice touch.
4. Offaly
Offaly have had some top class jerseys in recent seasons, with this being no exception.
The two simple green and yellow lines across the chest look great.
3. Galway
This is a beauty.
The diagonal lines are a bit hit and miss, but they work brilliantly on this Galway effort. It was unfortunate to only finish third.
2. Wexford
Wexford are the king of the alternate jerseys.
They finish in the top few positions every year and the 2023 edition is incredible. In any other season, it probably would have come out on top.
1. New York
This was the runaway winner.
A nod to the Yankees in a New York GAA jersey? Sensational.
Everything about it is understated, but flawless. It's up there with the best jerseys we have seen in a long time.
