The provincial championships now done and dusted, both the football and hurling championships have reached their quarter-final stages.
The football championship quarters come in a shiny new format: the Super 8s which features two round robin group stages. Just as hurling took centre stage earlier in the summer, now is football's time for the limelight.
After easing through their preliminary quarter-finals at the weekend, Limerick and Wexford match-up against beaten provincial finals Kilkenny and Clare this weekend.
In the football, we have double headers at Croke Park on Saturday and Sunday.
