What's At Stake?

National Hurling League Division 1B - Waterford v Offaly

The hurling starts off the weekend with a top-of-the-table clash in Division 1B as these two teams' great campaigns will be capped off in a final showdown. Both sides are essentially through to the top division next season, with points and points difference on their side, but Offaly will be looking to see out their so far unbeaten campaign flawlessly, while Waterford would be looking to spoil it and take the top spot on the last day.

National Hurling League Division 1A - Cork v Galway

Meanwhile, Division 1A is poised for a dramatic finish. Galway visit Cork in a game that will be a make or break in both sides seasons. With Kilkenny's campaign finished, it is a must-win game for either side as victory will snatch the 2nd place spot just behind Tipperary. A share of the points will work in Cork's favour, but Galway won't give it to them easily. It will most certainly go right down to wire.

National Football League Division 2 - Louth v Meath

The football on Sunday begins with a clash that brings both sides of the spectrum. Louth desperately need some breathing space away from Down, as two points will go a long way in securing their safety. However, Meath currently sit at third place in the Division 2 table, and a convincing win is paramount if they want to leapfrog Roscommon and take their top two spot. With points difference coming in as a factor, The Royal County will come out guns blazing.

National Football League Division 3 - Clare v Offaly

It is tight at the top of Division 3 as Offaly currently sit at the top spot, but Clare and Kildare are bearing down their necks. Sitting at third place, Clare will need the win and some luck, if Kildare were to fail to win, in order to grasp a top two spot. Meanwhile Offaly will want to continue the form they have had all season and see it out comfortably without any surprises that could spoil it at the last second.

National Football League Division 1 - Tyrone v Dublin

Finally, the weekend ends with a Division 1 clash which epitomises how everything is to play for in this last game. Tyrone need the win to ensure that they survive in the top division. With Derry already relegated, it just leaves Armagh as their top threat; the two are at a deadlock on points. On the other end of the table, Dublin, alongside four other counties battle for the top of the table. The table is too tight to leave anything to chance, so the Boys in Blue will want a win to guarantee their chances, otherwise, depending on how the other teams fare, the end of their season could change drastically.

That's your guide on GAA On TV this weekend.
