It's another big weekend in the club GAA calendar, with the provincial championships kicking into gear as the last county senior final of the year takes place.

Saturday

North London Shamrocks v Ballina Stephenites, Connacht SFC QF, 1.30, Connacht GAA TV

The early throw-in sees Ballina travel to Ruislip to take on the London champs who had ten starters from Donegal in the county final, while being managed by 2012 All-Ireland winner Peter Witherow.

Kilcoo v Crosserlough, Ulster SFC QF, 6.00, Ulster GAA TV

Crosserlough didn't get to play in Ulster when they last won in 2020 as it was the Covid year, while Kilcoo have been defeated in the province in the last two years, in the final to Glen two years ago and at this stage last year against Scotstown.

It's a tight turn-around for Adare having only won the county championship seven days earlier though they'll be hoping the momentum carries through. Éire Óg Inis were convincing in Clare, winning the final by seven points.

Tinahely v Tullamore, Leinster SFC QF, 1.30, Clubber

Recommended

Aughrim should be hopping as Tinahely look to make it three wins in three weeks. Their thrilling win over Portarlington last time out makes them the story of the club championship so far.

They were underdogs then and they will be again, but they aren't complete greenhorns in this competition, having reached the Leinster final in 1984.

Ardee St Mary's v Rathvilly, Leinster SFC QF, 1.30 Clubber

The Louth champs made hard work of defeating Abbeylara in the first round, conceding sloppy goals and missing chances of their own.

Carlow champs Rathvilly last played in Leinster in 2021, losing by 14 points to then Louth champs Naomh Mairtín.

Corofin v Padraig Pearses, Connacht SFC QF, 1.30, TG4

2021 champs Pearses take on ten-time-champs Corofin in Tuam Stadium - effectively their own back yard. They last met in the 2019 decider, with the Galway kingpins winning by six.

A novel Galway hurler final sees the neighbours go head-to-head, with Cappataggle here for the very first time.
