TG4's relentless GAA coverage continues today with live coverage of the Kilkenny vs Cork Camogie Leagues Division 1 final followed by Tipperary and Kilkenny's Allianz League Division 1 final and there is one particular feature that has delighted GAA fans.
TG4 have continued with the split screen camera that allows replays to be shown while the action continues. On top of that, a high behind the goal camera is deployed that shows the full pitch prior to a puck-out and therefore all the movement and positioning.
The camera work proved hugely popular.
This new Tg4 angle behind the goals for puck outs is brilliant. Maith on Fear @SportTG4 @GAA_BEO

This is excellent camera work from @GAA_BEO @TG4TV . Behind the goal shots of puckouts, replays in the corner rather than us missing the game. Class stuff. Please take note @TheSundayGame @RTEsport #TIPPvKK #AllianzLeagues

TG4 are playing replays in the bottom corner of the screen while keeping live footage of puck-outs on the screen. This HAS to be adapted by RTE, particularly for Gaelic Football. TG4's creativity and modernity is an oft-overlooked part of their coverage.

The feature ensures live action is uninterrupted while still providing a replay and a wonderful addition to the viewer's experience.
As for the games, Kilkenny overcame Cork 0-15 to 1-11 to claim a three-in-a-row.
