Seeing your county play in the All-Ireland final live from the hallowed stands of Croke Park is the dream for hardcore GAA fans. However, every devotee to Ireland's national game has gone through the inner struggle of deciding which comes first, club or county, at one point in their lives. Answering this question is easier said than done.
AIB decided to test the loyalty of GAA fans to their respective clubs by offering them a rather cruel choice. The bank went around to Donegal and Kerry fans before the All-Ireland final last Sunday offering them a momentous donation of €2,000 for their clubs. The catch was that they must tear up their ticket to the game in order to receive the money.
