GAA president Larry McCarthy says the association will investigate whether there were any congestion issues at Croke Park for Sunday's Tailteann Cup semi-finals.
The last-four of the second tier football competition saw Meath defeat Antrim and then Down beat Laois.
@RTERadio1 I was at @CrokePark .. There was conjestion yesterday..Lower Hogan stand was overflowing.. Davin Stand was opened to cater for these paying customers to avoid serious issues @officialgaa

On RTÉ Radio One's Morning Ireland, following the draw of the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals, it was put to McCarthy that the show had received messages about "trouble" and "crowd congestion" in the Lower Hogan stand.
There were also posts on social media highlighting the problems which supporters had on Sunday.
Fantastic opportunity to support @OfficialDownGAA today, but what unfolded between the 2 games was a logistical failure from @officialgaa
No reserved seating, 3/4 stadium empty but 4 counties squeezed into the Lower Hogan was mayhem and quite frankly scary!!! A disgrace!!! pic.twitter.com/OsCUsdRbkc— Kevin McKernan (@KevinMcKernan1) June 25, 2023
"I wasn't witness to anything," said McCarthy.
"I was there - one brilliant game, one not so great game. There were 17,500 people there in an 82,000 seater stadium. It's difficult to see how there was congestion.
"We will certainly look at it this morning, I can assure you.
"The Lower Hogan was open and the premium section was open. It was general admission, so you could sit anywhere essentially.
"We opened up the Davin as well as the crowd came in to give people plenty of room."
100% agree! Was an absolute joke only having the lower hogan open! People couldn't move behind the stands very dangerous! @officialgaa @rtenews @RTERadio1 @MartyM_RTE @sportsdes @Darrenfrehill https://t.co/9apjW9PRK4
