There are some mouth-watering ties in store for Gaelic football fans this weekend thanks to the All Ireland quarter-finals.
Unfortunately the fact the teams look to be so evenly matched is not good news for those of us with a soft spot for gambling. We've taken a hit with our last couple of football predictions, so this week we're going with one bet and one bet only.
Tyrone v Monaghan - Under 31.5 points at 5/6
The over/under bet served us well in the Ulster Final but unfortunately Cavan's failure to beat Derry in normal time scuppered our double. So this time around we're taking no chances and going big on just the one match.
Again Monaghan feature, and it's thanks to them that we're expecting their match against Tyrone to be another low scoring affair. This time around it's under 31.5 points total and you would have to be fairly confident that it should come off. The highest scoring match featuring Monaghan in the championship to date was their tie with Cavan and even that had a total of just 23 points.
Tyrone may well win the match but it won't pretty. 5/6 is a nice bet for anyone looking to – almost – double their money.
Elsewhere, if you're looking for a better priced bet we'd recommend Dublin -5 against Cork at 13/8.
