The idea that there should be a far greater television build-up to two of the biggest days in the GAA calendar - the All-Ireland football and hurling finals - has been held for quite a while.
Maidhcí Ó Súilleabháin is the outside broadcast director and executive content director for Nemeton TV, the company which produces TG4's GAA coverage.
Last year, Ó Súilleabháin and his team debuted the GAA version of NFL Redzone, the broadcast which whizzes around American football games showing big plays moments after they've happened.
The Corkman has some suggestions for a schedule which would make All-Ireland final days a far greater spectacle on television.
