It's that time of year again, as students from across the country prepare to lace up and take to the field in the 2023 Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon and Sigerson cups.

A Northern Derby between Queens University Belfast and Ulster University in the Sigerson Cup looks set to be a cracker, with the latter fielding a particularly interesting side to play in this year's tournament. All-Star Conor Glass is available for the university after his heroics with Derry in the All-Ireland Championship this year. Conor's intercounty teammates Niall Loughlin and Odhran Lynch are also in the squad.
All eyes now turn to January, as teams look to hit the ground running and kickstart their 2023 Fitzgibbon and Sigerson Cup campaigns with a win. This promises to be another exciting year!
