University of Limerick (UL) will face off with Mary Immaculate College (MICL) in Abbeydorney this Saturday as they bid for the 2024 Fitzgibbon Cup. Here's all you need to know about the Fitzgibbon Cup Final.

The Limerick colleges have both come through stern tests to reach this stage. UL began their campaign by beating ATU  Galway, a week later they ran riot against TUS Midwest, UL then toppled the record winners of the competition University College Cork (UCC) in the quarters before edging out University of Galway in Gurteen in Wednesday's semi final. MICL began with a brilliant victory themselves over UCC, they went on to victory over Maynooth University as well as TUS Midwest, and was fully in control as they overcame SETU Waterford in Mallow to book their spot in Saturday's showpiece.

MICL are two time winners of the competition recording back to back wins in 2016 and 2017. Their last final was 2019 when they lost out to UCC. UL on the other hand, are eight times Fitzgibbon Cup winners and are looking to win their third tile on the bounce.
