The opening 12 minutes or so of the game saw the green flag raised three times in four minutes.
The first player to hit the back of the net was Fintan Cregg.
The Roscommon midfielder lobbed a ball over Mayo keeper David Clarke - either intentionally or unintentionally, you can make up your own mind on that one.

The second came just three minutes later from Ciaran Murtagh. Roscommon's seven point advantage would last less than a minute as Lee Keegan found the net for Mayo.
