While hurling had no better than a peripheral impact on the notorious rap battles of the 1990s, involving the likes of Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur and Lord Finnesse and Percee P, at last now the greatest game on the planet is making its presence felt in the rap world.
For this is very possibly the first rap song ever recorded about hurling (we are open to correction but we don't recall Christy Hennessy teaming up with anyone to produce a rap track). Kilkenny's Captain Moonlight has joined forces with some of the finest rappers in Dublin to produce 'Art of the Clash.' And its surprisingly good. Have a listen.
