Just a quick one to highlight a brilliant video we spotted on Clonmel Óg's Facebook page about hurley size. It features Paudie Butler taking kids and, perhaps more importantly, parents aside to show them when the length of a hurley is so important for development at underage.

Paudie explains that youngsters using hurleys that are too long means they don't develop the habit of bending their knees and sitting into a near squat position when pulling on the ball. Obviously this has a negative impact on their mobility in so many different aspects of hurling and camogie.

The main takeaway from the whole lesson is that kids have have to be forced to 'Sit down!' by using the appropriate length of hurley.
