After some pretty strange results in the qualifiers today, it's pretty interesting to see former intercounty players like Diarmuid O'Sullivan and Colm Parkinson blowing off steam on Twitter over their county manager. They're both young enough to understand the Twitter machine. Parkinson sort-of back tracked from the comment in a later tweet, and is a bit of a loose cannon to begin with, but it'll be interesting to see if these tweets have any sway. Certainly 'The Rock' speaks for the vanguard of that Golden Generation and we can assume his frustrations are shared by many recently-retired and soon-to-be-retired Cork players.
