There's quite a few people sharing the opinion that Martin McHugh made a bit of an ass of himself on last night's Sunday Game by claiming that Colm Cooper is 'a two-trick pony'. The former Donegal player and manager was trying to extol the virtues of James O'Donoghue, whose exploits yesterday were undoubtedly impressive. However, it's fair to say that McHugh's opinion of the Gooch in comparison to O'Donoghue hasn't gone down very well.
Players and fans alike were quite keen to point out the folly of McHugh's statement.
If the Gooch is a "2 trick pony" this is how I feel. pic.twitter.com/5ecMgFiAy8

Out having a few drinks. Please tell me Martin McHugh didn't day what he said on the Sunday Game. It's a wind up, right?
